Beacon Hill Associates, Inc. has announced the hiring of Bob Varnes as Senior Account Executive. He will assist with the increased production demands in their brokerage division and will be managing new business brokerage opportunities in CO, WY, UT, NM, ID, CA, AZ and NV. Bob has over 35 years of experience in the wholesale E&S community. Most recently, he has worked with construction General Liability and environmental contractors, consultants, and engineering accounts.

PartnerOne Environmental, Beacon Hill Associates' underwriting division, is now working in partnership with Berkley Environmental, a Division of Berkley Specialty Underwriting Managers, to offer Site Pollution Liability. This product will provide coverage for both on-site and off-site clean-up, defense costs, and third party bodily injury and property damage claims. Coverage enhancements can include 1st and 3rd Party Transportation, Non-Owned Disposal Sites coverage, Natural Resources Damages, Mold and Legionella, and scheduled storage tank systems. Premiums start at $3,000.

Beacon Hill Associates, Inc. has announced the hiring of Allison McGreal to open a new office in Denver, Colorado. The strategic location and the addition of McGreal as Assistant Vice President - Underwriting Division will enable Beacon Hill to take advantage of the continuing opportunities presented to its PartnerOne Environmental in-house underwriting division. At a time when many markets are contracting and searching for ways to modify their business models, Beacon Hill continues to successfully expand, both in its home office in Charlottesville as well as into other regions of the country.

The strategic location and the addition of Assistant Vice President Brett Amick, will allow the company to better serve new and existing agents in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
